A good introduction to a full body treatment using only warm stones.
Pre-requisites: Basic anatomy and physiology. Understanding of massage terms and basic massage moves.
Course Description:
This course will cover aspects of thermotherapy and how to apply the principles of only using heated stones within the massage.
A complete 60 min treatment is taught. In this class you will learn how to do specialized massage techniques combined with heated stones.
The proper placement of stones on the body which will result in deeper relaxation of your client.
Student Learning Outcome:
Demonstrate an understanding of how Warm Stones work within a massage.
Demonstrate how to give a Warm Stone massage.
Describe how thermotherapy works to heal and decongest the body.
Prepare Warm Stones for a full body Stone Treatment.
Understand why some health or medical conditions of the client disallow them to have the treatment.
General Course Objective:
To ensure the therapist is competent and confident to perform a 60 minute Warm Stone Massage.

An advanced course in using Heated & chilled Stones in a remedial, therapeutic Massage. We use 56 Stones to work on the body and get dynamic results for your clients as well as saving your wrists and thumbs.

A complete 90 min treatment is taught. In this class you will learn how to do specialized massage techniques combined with heated stones.

Course Description:
Teaching thermotherapy and cryotherapy and how to incorporate hot and cold stones into a seated Indian Head Massage.
This course applies the principles of the ancient art of Head Massage blended with the application hot and cold stones.
This Indian Head massage treatment takes the strain off wrists and arms. It is a non-invasive, time conscious and focused therapy for the head, neck, shoulders and upper arms, upper back, décolletage and face working on the soft tissue with the added element of relaxation.
At 45 minutes it can be more appealing to time poor clients.
This makes it the perfect quick lunchtime, after work or add-on session for the all to common tight upper back and neck.
Student Learning Outcome:
Demonstrate correct understanding and application of Indian head massage and hot and cold stone techniques for a 45 min seated treatment.
Understand Contraindications for this treatment.
Describe how thermotherapy and cryotherapy work within this treatment.
General Course objective:
To ensure the therapist is competent to provide a 45 minute seated Indian Head Massage treatment.
